“The total platform was one of the reasons we chose DISH. The different solutions work together perfectly. Thanks to the integration between the POS system and the staff planner, I have gained much better insights. For example, I can now see exactly how the number of scheduled staff compares to revenue.”
Online ordering options
“What works perfectly for our hospitality venues is the ordering website and the order kiosk. Guests can order food and drinks through our website. We then deliver the order to the accommodation. In the snackbar, we use the self-order kiosk. At the kiosk, guests order and pay for their desired snacks. The order can then be picked up at the pick-up screen. This way, guests have to wait less and can continue enjoying their day.”
Control in the kitchen
“The benefits of online ordering are also noticeable in the kitchen. Because orders arrive directly on the work screens, they no longer need to be written down manually, which increases efficiency. Working with digital bar and kitchen screens was a bit of an adjustment at first, but staff now find it very convenient because there is less need for verbal communication. For example, the screens clearly show how long ago an order was placed.”
More focus on the guest
“QR ordering is mainly used on the terrace of our restaurant Western-Plaza. By using QR ordering, the service team has more time for personal contact with our guests. We see that especially families and young people order food via QR codes. Young people are familiar with it, and children enjoy doing it. In the future, we want to use QR ordering in the accommodations as well. In addition to our ordering site, guests would then also be able to order food from their accommodation by scanning a QR code. This would make ordering even easier for guests.”
