Flying Dutchmen Cocktails recommends the DISH POS system
From a part-time job that got out of hand to worldwide recognition as bartenders and owning their own business. Tess Posthumus and Timo Janse have both won numerous cocktail awards. Tess has even been in the top 10 of the world’s best bartenders for three years. It’s no surprise, then, that shortly after Amsterdam gained their cocktail bar, Flying Dutchmen Cocktails was already nominated for Best New International Cocktail Bar!
The dream team ‘TNT’ (Tess & Timo) met each other as colleagues at Door 74, where the idea for their own cocktail bar was born. They dreamed of a place where there’s room for the classics. Tess says: “We want to show people that behind every cocktail there’s a story, history, and culture. How amazing would it be if the cocktail truly became part of Dutch drinking culture?”
Their ambitions are high, which is why they wanted a POS system that supports them: the DISH POS system. According to Tess, their main requirement was a user-friendly, flexible, and reliable system. “You often tailor cocktails to your target audience, which affects the price. A flexible POS system with a good back office is a must. DISH is very clear and easy to use. Even new employees can get started right away. I would definitely recommend it to colleagues.” Timo enthusiastically adds that he hasn’t come across anything that isn’t possible. “For me, ease of use is important, and being able to view the current status in real time. I can, for example, easily adjust the menu while they continue working in the bar. I can only recommend it.”
